Like no other pistol, GLOCK pistols permit almost unrestricted compatibility of the magazines within a caliber. Standard magazines, for instance, can also be used for backup weapons. Compact and subcompact GLOCK pistol model magazines can be loaded with a convincing number of rounds – i.e. GLOCK 26: up to 33 rounds.

The innovative polymer frame of the GLOCK pistol does not require grip shells. As a result, it has considerably more space for the magazine body and enables double-row staggered cartridge configuration. For this reason, GLOCK pistols are superior in firepower to conventional pistol models of the same size.

GLOCK magazines have a stiff metal tube encased in the proven GLOCK high-tech polymer. This resists deformation – even when dropped from great height or exposed to extreme environment conditions. Magazines with extended floor plates (plus 2 rounds) are available in calibers 9×19, .40, .380 and .357. 

The table shows the standard magazine capacity with a dark grey background and optional capacity with a light grey background. There is compatibility within each caliber group.

GLOCK compensator pistols are equipped with an integrated compensator, rendering the weapon even more controllable during rapid fire and allowing an improved hit pattern.
The compensator consists of two longitudinal openings in the barrel and slide of the pistol arranged in “V-position”. This minimizes front sight blackening hrough powder gases.

Your new GLOCK pistol is delivered as a complete set. Prior to this; it must pass the most stringent inspections and it is checked and test fired with test ammunition. The configuration has already been assembled to the optimum for the majority of users (see table on the right), but can also be individually equipped with options according to the requirements of law enforcement agencies.

LOADED CHAMBER INDICATOR
The user has always been able to read important parameters off his GLOCK pistol at a glance.
Trigger forward = safety activated.
Trigger pulled = safety deactivated.
The pistol also shows the user whether a cartridge is in the barrel or not. The extractor also serve as a loaded chamber indicator on all GLOCK pistols – and this entirely without additional components. Visual and palpable extractor edge.

Safety Warning:
Under all circumstances the pistol must be treated as if it is loaded - please note our Safety Rules. GLOCK users must not rely only upon a protruding extractor to confirm that a round is in the chamber. In addition, GLOCK users must not rely only upon the fact that the extractor is not protruding from the slide to confirm an empty chamber to the exclusion of manually checking the chamber. The surest method to the absence of a round in the chamber is to visually and manually check the chamber of the pistol by pulling and locking the slide to the rear as indicated in the Instructions for Use Manual provided with every GLOCK pistol sold.

HANDY SHAPE
Whether strong masculine hands or delicate female hands, the GLOCK pistol always feels as if it is made to measure. After comprehensive studies of the firing hand, a grip angle of 105% was chosen to provide best firing results.
The grip design is based on the hand and equipped with a secure-grip profile. A secure weapon affording a secure grip!

LEFT HAND USERS
An important factor in the development of the GLOCK pistol was its suitability for left and right-handed users alike. The special design of the operating elements, allows the index finger and thumb of left-handed persons to assume the leading role for operation. The configuration of the operating elements for left and right-handed users also reduces the possibility of inadvertent firing.

MOUNTING RAILS

A laser target test device was especially developed for this purpose to coordinate the hit pattern with the line of sight. Every GLOCK customer can rely on receiving a weapon that has been tested in the factory and which operates reliably “out of the box” without compromises or expensive additions!
